Digital Support

Rob Humphreys, the Digital Support Enabler, can help churches and mission communities across Cumbria make better use of digital tools to connect with one another and with their wider community.

Whether you already have confidence online, or you’re not sure where to begin, this support is designed to meet you where you are and help you take sensible, manageable next steps.

If you’re clergy, a churchwarden, PCC member, communications volunteer, part of a youth team, a mission community leader – or simply someone trying to help your church communicate more clearly – this page is for you.

How I can help

Support is practical and flexible. You don’t need to do everything at once, and there’s no expectation that every church needs to be on every platform.

“Done with you” or “done for you”

Support can be collaborative (building skills and confidence) or more practical and hands-on where appropriate. This is agreed case by case.

How support usually works

  1. You email with what you’re trying to do or what’s not working.
  2. We agree a realistic next step.
  3. We review and adjust as needed.

There’s no expectation of perfection, consistency across every platform, or keeping up with trends.
