Christmas resource hub
After the uncertainty of the past few years, this year we want to pull out all the stops to make sure that our friends, family and neighbours know that they are warmly invited to join us at church this Christmas. Rev. Tony Ford, the vicar of St. Mark's in Barrow, has taken on a new role as the chaplain for BAE Systems in Barrow, the UK's leading submarine building site. After a six-year gap without a chaplain, Tony has reintroduced this vital support service to the company, where over 13,500 people work, with that number expected to grow. His chaplaincy provides emotional and spiritual support to workers of all faiths, or none, and is part of the company's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team.
